Job Responsibilities:

  • Familiarize him or herself with the Company’s proposal process and work with the Company Capture Manager to make any necessary tailoring with respect to the size and scope of the opportunity
  • Ensure proposal compliance with all RFP requirements in all proposal sections
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of all proposal sections, plans, and specifications
  • Integrate the efforts of planning/engineering staff with proposal staff, and of proposal staff with production staff
  • Prepare a master proposal schedule
  • Plan the proposal and proposal support activities
  • Issue writer’s package to proposal team
  • Lead development of proposal outline, storyboards (if required), and content working through the Volume Leads
  • Support proposal reviews
  • Ensures approval of all corporate commitment statements.
  • Coordinate the approval of any exceptions or deviations.
  • Prepare status reports and briefings for higher-level management.

Once the proposal is submitted, the Proposal Manager shall support the following activities as requested:

  • Technical clarifications
  • New, updated proposal submissions
  • Orals preparation, briefing slides, and presentation reviews and feedback
  • Document all proposal lessons learned

Minimum Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A minimum of five years experience managing proposal submitted to U.S. Federal agencies
  • Track record of federal IT services proposal development and contract wins
  • Thorough understanding of the standard government proposal process
  • Commitment to quality
  • Strong written, verbal communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to lead a small proposal team
