UPCOMING SMALL BUSINESS CONTRACT OPPORTUNITIES – U.S. Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Coast Guard, Federal Emergency Management Agency, and Transportation Security Administration

The U.S. Coast Guard has issued a sources sought notice requesting information related to obtaining contractor services to further develop business intelligence (BI) using the Acquisition Directorate’s Business Intelligence system, and also develop and implement performance management data sets and measures in support of the Acquisition Directorate Strategic Plan and Action Plan utilizing CG-9’s Acquisition Performance Management System (APMS). It is anticipated that this acquisition will be set-aside 100% for Women-Owned Small businesses.  NAICS Code is 541611 – Administrative Management and General Management Consulting Services. The small business size standard is $15M.

The Transportation Security Administration has issued a sources sought notice, Request for Information (RFI) to determine if there are small businesses interested in providing maintenance and assured system compliance of IT hardware and software. This future requirement may be a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  Place of performance would be in the Colorado Springs, CO and Annapolis Junction, MD areas. The anticipated period of performance will be five years (base + 4 option years). NAICS Code is 541513 – Computer Facilities Management Office Administrative Services.  Classification Code: R – Professional, administrative, and management support services. TSA requires responses to this Sources Sought Notice by November 4, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. Eastern.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency, on behalf of the Emergency Management Institute (EMI) has developed a Request for Information (RFI) to solicit market research from industry.  FEMA currently utilizes a Learning Content Management System (LCMS) to develop, deliver, and manage specialized training for emergency response providers and emergency managers from the State, local, tribal and territorial governments, the Federal government, foreign governments, private sector entities and the general public. FEMA is using this RFI to better understand what other LCMS systems and support industry may offer in an effort to improve the management and development of their course curriculum. The NAICS Code is 541511 Custom Computer Programming Services. Classification Code: D – Information technology services, including telecommunications services. Responses are due November 08, 2019 at 4:00 pm Eastern.
