UPCOMING HOMELAND SECURITY CONTRACT OPPORTUNITIES: Multiple Agencies, 2019 TSA Industry Day With Two Year TSA Procurement Forecast

  1. USCIS: Citizenship and Immigration Services is seeking Information Assurance Security Services (IASS) to provide consultative and professional security services, including risk management, cloud micro-services architecture, and emerging technologies.  This is a new requirement for NAICS Code 541519.  USCIS is anticipating award against GSA 8(a) STARS II, GWAC Constellation 1, Functional Area 4.  The estimated dollar range is between $50,000,000 and $100,000,000.  The estimated release date is June 18, 2019, with award anticipated for Q4, 2019.
  2. United States Coast Guard (USCG): This latest opportunity is a USCG requirement for C4IT (Command, Control, Communications, Computer and Information Technology).  The purpose is to acquire Nationwide Automatic Identification System (NAIS) Engineering Service Support at 60 various sites plus 134 remote locations.  No determination has yet been made on set-aside status.  The NAICS Code is 541513.  The estimated dollar range is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000.  The contract vehicle will be GWAC/MAC.  The incumbent contractor is Rivertech LLC.  Current Status:  Estimated release is July 22, 2019 with award anticipated in Q2, 2020.
  3. DHS Headquarters Management Directorate: This effort includes services necessary to provide a full range of IT and program administration, operations management, governance and oversight support services. Requirements include:  program and project management, application, service and cloud architecture support, business process re-engineering and support for new and evolving technologies. The estimated dollar range is $10,000,000 to $20,000,000.  The set-aside status has yet to be determined for this NAICS Code 541611 new requirement.  The contract vehicle will be a Blanket Purchasing Agreement (BPA).  The estimated release date is June 11, 2019 with anticipated award in Q4, 2019.


TSA in collaboration with the Government Technology & Services Coalition (GTSC) will hold this event on Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 8:30 to 4:00 pm at the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) Conference Center at Washington, D.C. All participants must be registered in SAM and participation is limited to 325 attendees.  The day will include Strategic Industry Conversations on key TSA initiatives in the Requirements and Capabilities Analysis, Human Capital, Acquisition and Program Management, Information Technology, and Intelligence & Analysis portfolios.  The day will conclude with the Contracting and Procurement Office (C&P) presenting the forecast of procurement opportunities for the next two years.  For details and a link to the registration site please see:
